We’ve been building software/hardware systems in a centralized manner for decades, no matter whether they were mainframes with thin clients, clients+server, or web 2.0 — there was always a central place of data storage and execution control. However, time changes and the new uprising trend is all about systems with no central point of control. Blockchain was the first solution, which most programmers still don’t understand. There will be many more solutions in the future, which some of us are yet to design and build.
