Climbing out from the digital mud with unikernels DevOps и эксплуатация
Ian Eyberg is a founder/engineer over at DeferPanic which has been working with helping leading organizations run production unikernels for over two years now. He got bit by the unikernel bug after booting the first Go unikernel shortly after giving a talk on Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) in Go at HighLoad++ 2015 and hasn't stopped building around the ecosystem since. He has previously led lives at enterprise security companies that sold to three letter agencies, a poker analytics startup, and various telecoms.

The monolithic operating system has not changed much in the past forty years but hardware, software development, and the world in general has. As engineers we are stuck living under neolithic layers of digital mud while the ever increasing demand of security and efficiency beckon us more into the future.
The future is unikernels.
We'll approach the history of software development over the past four decades and how it has evolved.
We'll hit the hard philosophical questions like:
What is an operating system?
What is an application?
We'll dive into the security and efficiency pain points that developers and the organizations they work for experience today. We'll dive into real world use-cases of where unikernels have been utilized to solve said pain for real customers.
Finally we'll walk through some real live demos of how you can utilize unikernels today.
